Graduated from Russian – Armenian (Slavonic) State University, department of social–cultural service and tourism.

During her student years she was much interested in the Armenian history and archaeology, and consequently she held her Master’s degree in Yerevan State University (department of archaeology end ethnography).

She has been a member of archaeological expedition in Erebuni fortress for several years, worked in the museum of Erebuni, as well as took part in the excavations of the ancient settlements of Tsaghkasar and Agarak.

At the moment Inessa is a PhD student. In addition, she collaborates with the Institue of Archaeology and Ethnography NAS RA.
Her interests as a specialist include the Bronze age culture of Transcaucasus, the period of Urartian Kingdom, Hellenistic period of  Armenia, etc.
